Gas Prices Are Yucky...

I haven't blogged in quite a long time -- mainly because things have been so incredibly busy around here the last couple of months.. Gas prices have zapped us pretty good so we spend a great deal of our time doing work here and consolidate our trips more efficiently.. Unfortunately no day trips which saddens both of us.. Mind you - we're paying substantially less than in other parts of the country - and to our dear friends who are paying more for gas - you have My deepest sympathies..

We've also started watching the NBC show "Heroes" lately.. We're hooked and what's really sad is that long before we even watched the very first episode -- we both thought: "we're going to get hooked ya' know..." I think we were both trying to look for reasons not to be hooked .... but we are.. It's hard not to like Hiro -- and being a trekkie and a geek resonates well with Me.. The intertwining plot lines so far in season 1 are really cool.. It'll no doubt be a "keeper" when they go on sale..

For whatever reason though -- I feel like I'm in a lifestyle drought right now.. Nothing is particularly compelling or spellbinding.. Nothing is particularly noteworthy or interesting right now.. Maybe it's being so busy and overwhelming that there isn't enough room to contemplate things right now.. We both need a vacation - but I'm not sure that's even on the radar..
